How to Get to the Grand Palace by BTS

The Grand Palace is not on the BTS. Take the Silom Line to Saphan Taksin, then a Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Chang pier.

Step by step

1. Take the BTS Silom Line to Saphan Taksin (S6) and leave via Exit 2.
2. Walk to Sathorn Pier under the bridge.
3. Board a Chao Phraya Express Boat heading upriver and get off at Tha Chang (N9), about 15 THB.
4. The Grand Palace entrance is a 5 to 7 minute walk from the pier, following the long white wall.
